Overview
Ventemo supports account deletion for users and listeners. This page explains how to request deletion, what happens to your data, and what information may be retained.
How to delete your account
You can initiate account deletion using any of the following methods:
- Website (users): sign in, go to Profile, open Account settings, and select Delete My Data.
- Ventemo mobile app (users): sign in, open Profile, and select Delete Account.
- Ventemo Listener mobile app: sign in, open Profile, and select Delete Account.
- Email: send a deletion request from your registered email address to contact@ventemo.com.
You may be asked to confirm your decision. Deletion requests are rate-limited to help prevent abuse.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, Ventemo generally removes:
- your profile and account settings;
- bookings and favorites associated with your account;
- session records linked to your user account;
- chat messages associated with your sessions;
- session reports you filed; and
- your authentication record.
Deletion is processed server-side and may take reasonable time to propagate across systems and backups.
What may be retained
We may retain certain information where required or permitted by law, including for:
- payment and tax records;
- fraud prevention and security investigations;
- safety, abuse, or dispute resolution;
- legal compliance and enforcement of agreements; and
- anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.
Listener accounts
Listener accounts may have additional records related to onboarding, verification, payouts, or performance review. Some of these records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or safety purposes even after account deletion.
